Wallaroo Camping Hire is excited to offer camping gear for hire at Strawberry Fields 2025. Located near the SF Bus Stop, we'll be just a short walk from the market. Along with offering gear for hire, we'll also have a stall offering items for purchase and a gear repair service. Click here to find out more! Please note that we'll have a limited range of items available to hire onsite, so we strongly recommend pre-booking to ensure that you get the items you're after!
Payment Plans
There are a variety of payment options available on all bookings over $250. Payment plans can include installment and laybuy options, just give us a call and we'll figure out what's best for you. To set-up a payment plan, contact us!
How they work:
Call us up, and we can take your booking over the phone
Pay 10% (minimum) of the order up front
Organise fortnightly or monthly automatic payments
Call us up at any time to make extra payments
All payment plans must be paid in full by the 14th of October, and your card will automatically be charged if there is an outstanding balance to be paid

Where are you located?
We will be located close to the SF Bus Stop.
Do i need to set up my own gear?
Yes, any gear you hire you will need to set up yourself. We will have instructions available, and be able to offer help and advice on how to set-up and pack-up the gear.
When can i pickup and return gear?
Hire gear needs to be picked up and returned to our stall during the opening hours listed above.
Is a deposit taken?
We don't take a deposit, however, we securely hold your card details from the time of booking as a security measure, in keeping with our terms and conditions. Should gear not be returned, or be damaged in a negligent manner, contact will be attempted before any charge is applied to your card. Returned gear will be assessed for damage within 4 weeks of you returning the gear.
IS THERE ANYTHING MORE I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT PICKING UP MY GEAR?
Further information including a map will be sent out closer to the date. We suggest having access to your digital order confirmation for pick-up. Your order confirmation is sent to you at the time of booking.
IS THE GEAR BULKY? HOW WILL I MOVE IT TO MY CAMPSITE?
If you have booked a number of items but can't transport it to your site with a car, simply book a Camp Wagon to go along with it, and save yourself the pain!
What happens if i need to cancel?
Sometimes things happen which mean you can't make it anymore - it's sad, but we understand. If this happens we appreciate you giving us as much notice as possible. The following refunds can apply if needed:
Until 14/10/2024 - 95%
Between 14/10/2024 and 6/11/2024 - 70%
After 6/11/2024 - 0% as we'll already have incurred all associated costs
