Wallaroo Camping Hire is excited to bring our camping equipment hire to Meatstock Gippsland in 2026, meaning you can pick up and return onsite! Along with offering gear for hire, we'll also have a stall offering items for purchase and a gear repair service. To get your camping gear, book below, and we'll have it waiting for you to pick up onsite when you arrive. You use it at your campsite, then bring it back at the end of the weekend. If you're not sure which gear is right for you, get in touch, and we'll help you get sorted. Items are subject to availability, so we recommend getting booked ASAP!

Thursday 16/04: 4pm - 9pm (If you've booked for 17th to the 19th and arrive early, you can stay the night of the 16th free of charge!) Friday 17/04: 12pm - 9pm Saturday 18/04: 10am - 6pm Sunday 19/04: 8am - 4pm

We'll have a limited range of items available to hire onsite, so we strongly recommend pre-booking to ensure that you get the items you're after!

Where are you located?
Our hire stall location is TBC - will update here as soon as we know!
Do i need to set up my own gear?
Yes, any gear you hire you will need to set up yourself. We will be able to offer help and advice on how to set-up and pack-up the gear.
When can i pickup and return gear?
Hire gear needs to be picked up and returned to our stall during the opening hours listed above.
Is a SECURITY deposit taken?
We don't take a deposit, however, we securely hold your card details from the time of booking as a security measure, in keeping with our terms and conditions. Should gear not be returned, or be damaged in a negligent manner, contact will be attempted before any charge is applied to your card. Returned gear will be assessed for damage within 4 weeks of you returning it.
IS THERE ANYTHING MORE I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT PICKING UP MY GEAR?
We suggest having access to your digital order confirmation for pick-up. Your order confirmation is sent to you at the time of booking.
IS THE GEAR BULKY? HOW WILL I MOVE IT TO MY CAMPSITE?
If you have booked a number of items but can't transport it to your site with a car, simply book a Camp Wagon to go along with it, and save yourself the pain!
What happens if i need to cancel?
Sometimes things happen which mean you can't make it anymore - it's sad, but we understand. If this happens we appreciate you giving us as much notice as possible. The following refunds can apply if needed:
Until 16/03/2026 - 95%
Between 16/03/2026 and 9/04/2026 - 70%
After 9/04/2026 - 0% as we'll already have incurred all associated costs
